TW Metals Government Business Unit (GBU) provides professional, personal services and innovative logistics solutions. Through its long term Prime Vendor and Direct Vendor Delivery contracts with Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) and E-Mall with Defense Supply Center Columbus, the division offers direct customer support. The GBU has a sole purpose to focus on the mission critical needs of our customers both on and off contract. Our staff, many of whom have had prior military experience, has been specially trained to handle the regulatory, quality and exacting standards required by our government customers.

Through integrated suppliers, TW Metals' GBU is able to offer vendor delivery to more than 500 Department of Defense (DOD) customers nationally & internationally and their allied partners. Our products include Aluminum, Stainless, Alloy, Nickel, Red Metals and forgings from sheet and plate to Extrusions.
Prime Vendor contracts are administered through a proprietary internet-based electronic commerce system. This "live," on-line order entry system is the gateway to our inventory and integrated supplier program. The benefits include an enhanced materials management process and customer delivery response time. Real-time access allows government facilities to place and track orders 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
TW Metals' Prime Vendor e-commerce contracts have allowed government agencies to shift to commercial logistic practices. Advantages include lower military costs which enable increased support for repair and operations improvements expanding the military's readiness capability. Through these efforts, our government will benefit from enhanced mission support.
